Saturday Wine Tasting: January 17

Saturday, January 17: 3:00 – 5:00pm

 

Our first Saturday Wine Tasting is this weekend, January 17th from 3:00 until 5:00pm. The new time worked so well at our last tasting, we thought we would keep it going. So, drop in any time between 3 & 5pm to taste wines with Ian Spotz from Advintage Distributing. We will be focusing on wines made by South Carolina native, Jamey Whetstone.

Jamey Whetstone grew up in South Carolina and lived in Charleston before moving to Napa Valley in the mid 90’s. He landed an apprenticeship with Turley Wine Cellars working for Larry Turley and learning the art of winemaking from famed winemaker, Ehren Jordan (who currently owns and makes wine at Failla Wines). He has partnered with Advintage Distributing making a few private labels for them. These are true to their varietal and location while offering an incredible bang for the buck!
